Blogging Your School’s Publications

Blogs are a great way to get feedback and I think that high school publications crave feedback as much as professionals. But with students you need to make sure that you do it correctly.

First, I would recommend setting up a wordpress site or a myspace page. On either site you could set up trackbacks or topics of discussion. But I would not do either one without total moderation. No unmoderated comments should be allowed. Students will say anything online and do not censor themselves.

But this would be a great way to tap into student opinion, wants and needs for any student generated media.

Good Luck, be safe and have fun.
